Crowley Company Inc., installs physical and electronic perimeter barriers primarily for State and Federal Correctional Institutions. In business for nearly 90 years, Crowley Company has assembled individuals with expertise capable of providing design, budget analysis, estimating and project management for any physical and electronic security project. Crowley's extensive installation experience has resulted in a comprehensive knowledge of the corrections industry. This specialized experience allows Crowley the ability to provide solutions to the specific challenges faced by State Correctional Departments.

Crowley Company is not a manufacturing firm, and is therefore not tied to any specific correctional market products. This independent status provides Crowley with the opportunity to recommend various solutions to an Owner's perimeter security concerns, whatever their specific problem may be. The installation of perimeter security systems for correctional facilities in over 25 states from Maine to California has provided Crowley with the singular ability to provide solutions to a variety of needs. Our recommendations often prove to be both effective and cost effective.

Crowley establishes a close working partnership with its subcontractors. For most perimeter security projects, a Teaming Agreement will be drafted for the purposes of completion of that particular project. Crowley's knowledge of the perimeter security requirements, coupled with competent Teaming Partners, has proven to be a very successful, cost effective method of providing a problem free perimeter security solution. For projects requiring the installation of electronic security components, Crowley involves a senior engineer to perform all coordination with the Owner and its Teaming Partners.

Projects

Crowley's current management has been working together for approximately 20 years. Crowley has performed perimeter work for more than fifty correctional institutions throughout the United States. This represents the installation of over 45 miles of perimeter. The perimeter security systems have included chain link fence with shaker type systems, CCTV with fiber optic transmission, electrified fences, microwave, sallyport entry control, barbed tape obstacle and other similar barriers. Crowley Company was the prime contractor for the first electrified fence installed at the Calipatria State Prison in Calipatria, California and have been involved in every aspect of perimeter security technology. Our projects have been completed on time, are operating as designed, and our customers are satisfied.

Quality Control

At Crowley Company, quality is recognized as a primary area of concern requiring continuous acknowledgment and attention. This attention is required to ensure that manufactured products and installation procedures result in a finished product meeting the exact specifications originally designed.

Each employee at Crowley Company is instructed to constantly review and inspect work in progress and to exert every effort to reduce or eliminate any conditions that may result in a substandard installation. Recognition of quality work is continually encouraged by management, however, it remains the primary responsibility of the field personnel to ensure that each employee is fully instructed on quality control procedures and all aspects of the plan for quality standards for any particular project.

Management of construction quality is more than a request of management; Crowley considers this requirement an critical part of satisfactory position performance.
